Where are our products made from?
All our products are made in India. We work with a family-owned business who is specialised in luxury leather goods with many years of expertise.
Should I waterproof my product?
Yes. If you intend to waterproof your bag, take the time to carefully choose a product adapted to its leather, it is best to speak with your local cobbler for their recommendations. It is important to note that leather is a living and natural material so even waterproofed, it is best not to use your products in rainy weather and to avoid extreme heat and humanity.
How to take care of my product?
When not using your product, we recommend that you put it in its supplied dust bag and close the zips and avoid wet areas when storing away.
Is delivery free in Australia?
Yes. Standard shipping delivery is free in Australia for purchases over $80. Otherwise, delivery is $10.
Express shipping delivery is available for an extra $10.
Do you delivery to New Zealand and Around the world?
Yes, we accept orders from all over the world.
Express Shipping is used at a delivery cost of $30.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Once your product has shipped, it roughly takes 2 - 5 business days in Australia, 5 - 7 business days to New Zealand and 12-20 business days for the rest of the world.

How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped you will receive an email confirmation along with tracking details.
Full Priced items
Is your order not quite right? Have you chosen the wrong size, product or changed your mind on the colour you want?
You can return your purchased items within 14 days of receiving your order. All items returned MUST be unused/unworn and be in their original, undamaged packaging with ADESSA tags attached.
There are multiple return options to choose from:
- You can choose to exchange your items for another product.
- Return your item for a 110% online store credit on one exchange only or
- A refund to your original payment method
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Sale Items
You can return your purchased items within 14 days of receiving your order. All items returned MUST be unused/unworn and be in their original, undamaged packaging with ADESSA tags attached.
Any discounted items will not be accepted for a REFUND, but an online store credit of the value of the product will be offered.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Faulty Item
Please email an image of the faulty product, along with your Proof of Purchase to info@chikala.com.au for further review.
As our products are a natural material each piece is different and may show slight variations or imperfections in the grain or finish of the leather. This unique finish adds character to the piece and is not considered a fault.
Colour fading or darkening, marking and stretching as a result of regular usage, all add to the character of your product, they are not considered a fault.
We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products shown on this website.
Our warranty covers fault in workmanship or material within 12 months of purchase. If in the unlikely event this is the case, we will replace or repair your product.
This warranty does not cover a leather product that has been damaged by accident, neglect, normal wear and tear or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
